If you breed an Anery to an Albino you will get snakes that appear normal but will be HET for both Anery and Albino.

If you breed a pair of these double HETS you have a 1 in 16 chance of producing a Snow.

I'm kind of leaning that way now, towards albino.
I had also read that breeding the albino to an Anery wouls get Snow, or het for snow can't remember.

Paul and I are coming to this next Herp show prepared with a list if what we have, and we want.
Last time we ran around like kids in a candy store ;-)

I would get a male albino, so you could breed him to both of those females.
Your outcome with the hypo would be hypos that are het for sunglows. (WOW) and of course with the albino all albinos. SO these babies you would bread to anothe albino or to each other to get some sunglows. A sunglow is a hypo albino. And they are beautiful!!!!!

I've been reading up as much as I can, and talking to people about breeding practices.I recently aquired a female Hypo who is breeding age - the Albino is still young, so I'm thinking if I got a male what would work with both.

I know of someone here who breed two albino boas and produced 27 live albino babies and to the best of my knowledge all survived.

I plan on breeding my female albino BCI to my male Hypo BCI (possible het albino) together when they are mature enough to breed.

The reason to outcross with a het would be to add genetic diversity to the bloodline.

Oh that is disappointing!
I'm not doing any breeding yet. I have an adult Nic male and Colombian female, but don't want to intergrade.
My others - 2 BRB's aren't old enough. They're still eating and growing!

I'm hoping to eventually breed my Albino ( Colombian BC) female. I'm going to a Herp show in June, and want to look for a mate for her.
I was thinking another Albino, but have been told a Het. male would be better for producing viable offspring.
Do you know if this is true?

Turned out my Pastel Boa was not gravid after all. Ratzzz!!!!!

But I may wait till some of my younger Boas reach a breedable size/age anyway.
