Herpetological Society?
I am a member of the Kentucky Herpetological Society, we have lots of great speakers come give talks at our montlhy meetings and try to educate the public about herps.

Wed, April 9, 2008 - 5:44 PMI want to join my local one (Nova Scotia) but to be honest, from watching it's forums and such, it seems kind of .........slow.....and...quiet... (cricket).... like all things in this province lol
Also all the meetings take place in Halifax which is about an hour and a half drive on the highway from here, and I usually only make it there once every 3 or 4 years LOL
So I don't know if I'll join or not....... -

Wed, April 9, 2008 - 8:37 PMSince our group is Kentucky we do have people who drive and hour or two once a month to be there. But we have educational programs and speakers that are worth seeing. I learn so much more every month from being there. Our next meeting is this Sunday.
