++ crossposting from Belly Dancing Snake Lovers/Snake Dancers tribe ++

want to get a couple Thermometers & Humidity Gauges for my snakes (in prep for my move to Alaska where temps might be harder to monitor than here in relatively mild Florida) and I am not sure if I need the single probe or double probe to get good readings.

Does anyone here have experience with these Thermometers & Humidity Gauges (or something similar):

Do I need single or double probe and what is point of the two types (besides make it harder for me to figure out which one to buy!)
