New boa owner here. I just got 2 beautiful red tailed boas (true red tails) My husband used to raise snakes, so i feel pretty comfortable with it. My female is about 3 feet long, and my mail is a little over 2 feet. Im so happy with them. Haven't been able to hold the male very much just yet... his eyes are clouded over. But the female is extremely personable... a bit stubborn, but otherwise a sweetheart. YAY!!! Ive wanted snakes for such a long time.
I do have one question though..... the people that had them before were feeding them mice, but they would break the mouses neck first. Should I continue to do this, or should I maybe put a mouse in there, and keep an eye on it, see if my baby's will be able to profitiantly hunt or not???
so otherwise... just wanted to say hi to all the other boa lovers on here. *hugs*
